Marilyn Gatt is our resident professional dancer and choreographer. She teaches students how to bring a script to life on the stage, allowing students to work on them through their acting and movement exercises. Using her years of professional experience, she reshapes our script to focus on the story in the most enthralling way possible. She works with the students to perform their scripts effectively.
Students will use Q&A and activities to test the text of their script. Acting classes are designed to enable students to work with their coach in a collaborative and safe method to probe details of their character, and develop worksheets and handouts to better understand the text.
And best of all, we close the class with an actual production of our work. Students will write, rehearse, and perform their most important work of the semester on stage. It is common for them to perform in front of a live audience for the first time, and they are usually enthralled by the experience. d2c66b5586
