To make this chicken keema ensure you use an aromatic spice powder like a meat masala or a good garam masala. The flavor of your dish depends on the spice powder you use. I used a store bought meat masala powder here.
This recipe will give you a dry keema. If you prefer to make a gravy or curry then you can simply pour some coconut milk or cashew milk towards the end. I have included the details in the recipe card below.
Tried it and loved it, the keema really turned out well. The only modification I did was after cooking the onion tomato mixture, I blended it in the processer a little as I like mashed out keema. I also dried the keema and used it as a stuffing in paratha for lunch. Tasted great with coriander chutney. Thank you for sharing the recipe !

Samosa, for the unversed, is a deep-fried conical pastry that is stuffed with vegetables or meat. The crispy and flaky delight is a loved snack in India. The origins of a samosa, however, do not find home in India. It was from the Turkish and Persians that we were introduced to the idea of a samosa. The Mughal rule was a major point in history that brought samosa closer to us. In parts of Middle-East like Egypt and Zanzibar, it was known by a variety of names like sambusak, sanbusaj and samosa. The Delhi Sultanate saw the humble samosa being stuffed with all things meaty. It also find mentions in the writings of Abu Fazl and Ibn Batuta. The chicken keema samosa is a delicious samosa filled with spicy minced chicken filling. The minced chicken is tossed along with spices and chaat masala, covered with a crispy samosa covering making it perfect for the monsoons. Serve this samosa with a spicy garlic mint chutney for a tea time snack.
Then add 1 tsp red chilli powder, ½ tsp chaat masala powder, 1 tsp amchur powder , 1 tsp garam masala powder, the minced chicken and 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp salt. Mix the ingredients together and sauté till the mince is cooked.
A chicken malai tikka recipe for soft, juicy kababs on skewers that will simply melt in your mouth. Tender pieces of boneless chicken are marinated in a unique blend of yogurt, cream, cheese, papaya and spices and cooked on a grill or oven. Perfect for an outdoor barbecue or luncheon.
I have never had this dish, but know that I've seen it, I want to have it asap! The chicken looks so flavorful and moist, just how I like it! Now to go and get the ingredients!! Wonderful recipe.
Walekumsalam Sana, papaya paste is what makes the chicken melt in the mouth. It makes the chicken very soft. Chicken breasts especially have a tendency to dry out. That said, you could make these kebabs without papaya paste, I suppose. It is not an ingredient that would take away from the taste. I haven't used meat tenderizer in this recipe, so I can't comment on that. Hope that helps. 2b1af7f3a8
